FORÊT ESCOT
2016 Médoc
For this wonderful vintage, we created our new second label Forêt Escot.
Why Forêt? Forêt means in French Forest.
We wanted to produce a wine with a nice freshness, fruity, with floral notes, pleasant like a nice walk into the Forest.
Forêt Escot is made with younger vines, it is ageing shorter to enjoy young.
CLIMATE
2016 is a vintage of beautiful maturity, which gave birth to a wine with a classic profile.
The grapes, healthy at the time of the harvest, showed powerful tannins perfectly balanced by a well-preserved acidity. The whole trick then consisted in carrying out measured extractions in order to respect this crunchy fruit.
